Parent Information Session

I would like to warmly welcome you to a new year of friendship, fun and learning at Landsdale Primary School. It is my privilege to be teaching the Year Six class in LA 31 for 2012.

On Wednesday 15 February at 2:45 pm, the Year Six teachers (Ms Thompson, Ms McCleary and myself) will be holding an information session to discuss our teaching programme for 2012. This session will cover topics such as homework, curriculum content, use of technology, anti-bullying strategies and student rights and responsibilities.

Throughout the year, I will often send parents information and notes electronically. If you are interested in receiving electronic updates from the LA 31 classroom, please subscribe to this blog using the ‘subscribe’ button at the bottom of this page.

Day One in LA31

Our first day in Learning Area 31 was fantastic. We played several games to get to know one another, started decorating our classroom and, most importantly, developed a set of agreements that will guide our behaviour as we learn and work together in Year Six. Here’s what we agreed.

Parents, please feel free to contact me at any stage if you wish to discuss any aspect of your child’s education. You are your child’s most important teacher and your knowledge, insights and feedback are always welcome!

You can contact me at school or via email. Wednesdays are a particularly good day if you wish to meet with me as I have a reduced teaching load on that day.
